I want to dedicate this first 2021 post to the #MAKINGSTRIDES COMPETITION, run by The Fabricant, the first Digital Fashion House, in collaboration with Adidas and top model Karlie Kloss.
The goal: (re)design the Wind.RDY parka jacket from the Adidas x Karlie Kloss collection, with a cash prize for the first 3 designs, and be auctioned on Blockchain for the 20 first.
As a 3D Fashion Designer, it seems to be an enjoyable and motivational challenge, so I wanted to participate.
Starting from the original design, the orange jacket from the Adidas x Karlie Kloss collection, that you can see here, I wanted to give it a personal touch and, at the same time, fit the Adidas style.
I went for pastel colours with an acid touch and an abstract print, always a good match for activewear. Underlining the "tech" feeling with a slightly metal finishing and enhancing the textures.
To present the design, I also made a 3D composition. I wanted to highlight the joyful and futuristic design of the Adidas jacket.
I did the print artwork with Procreate and Photoshop, model in Daz3D and the jacket and renders with Clo3D.
